Review

Tezz is one man’s fight to get back what was taken away from him unjustly while the other man will do whatever it takes to stop him from succeeding in his mission. Both men are set in opposition to each other and both are equally fighting against time. Many lives have already been destroyed and a few more could be at stake as a speeding train running between London and Glasgow  holds the fate of Aakash Rana [Ajay Devgan] and Counter Terrorism Commandant Arjun Khanna [Anil Kapoor], and only one of them will succeed in this operation.

From the trailers, we could make out Tezz is going to be an action packed movie, and the movie has not let its viewers down. The plot of the movie is simple and has nothing new to offer, but good acting, direction and strong story line was more than enough to keep the viewers engaged. its a good looking thriller filmed with expertise.  Loaded with an ingenious premise, thrilling moments and action,  The movie are tremendously handled by Priyadarshan. The action [Gareth Milne and Peter Pedrerois] is excellent. The chase sequences  featuring Zayed Khan are devilishly executed. Tirru’s cinematography is ingenious. aaditya Dhar’s dialogues are witty and breathe life into the film. T. S. Suresh’s editing is slick and perfect.

Sajid-Wajid’s music comes as a surprise package but not that impressive except for one or two tracks. Tere Bina Tere Bina… Lyrics are heart touching. ’Main Hoon Shaab’  is sweet and melodious song. Laila Laila… song is choreographed well, but it hardly manages to match the standards of Munni and Shiela.  The beats of the song are good but the lyrics are not that impressive.

Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Ajay Devgn, Kangna Ranaut, Sameera Reddy and Boman Irani. All of them have done justice to their roles.  Anil Kapoor  performing the high-octane action stunts with flourish.  Ajay Devgn’s character has an emotional side, but it’s the action portions, which he handles like a complete pro, that makes his character even more appealing. Kangna is an integral part of the film, but the screen time is limited.  Mallika Sherawat is dressed a sexy way in the ‘Laila’ track.

Overall Tezz is a well made action packed movie, with  fast pace sequences, well knitted plot and good direction, the movie throughout, was able to keep the audiences on the edges of their seats!
